DESCRIPTION:<em><strong>Cookery class for one child (min age 8 - max age 16) & parent</strong></em>\n\n~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~\n\n‘Child & Parent Cooking Classes’ by Cuisine by Nadine\nThis class is designed for two, a parent/adult and their 8-16 year-old working together in this hands on workshop which will teach you how to make homemade Italian Potato Gnocchi.\n\nA fun hands-on class suitable for all abilities!\n<ul>\n 	<li>To prepare a menu of <em><strong>Italian potato gnocchi with a mascarpone & blue cheese sauce & crispy bacon </strong></em>all made from scratch!</li>\n</ul>\nLearning to make potato gnocchi from scratch is great fun and really satisfying when you realise how good it taste compared to shop bought so – they're worth the effort!\n\nYou will both learn how to make the dough the importance of using the correct type of potatoes and why they are cooked in their skin and the reason for making ridges with a fork so that the gnocchi is compressed holds its shape but most importantly the grooves hold the sauce when served.  We will also look at the difference between Italian mascarpone vs cream cheese.\n\n<strong>Learning Outcomes</strong>\n<ul>\n 	<li>Making fresh potato gnocchi dough</li>\n 	<li>Cooking potatoes in their skins</li>\n 	<li>Rolling, cutting & shaping the gnocchi with a fork</li>\n 	<li>Poaching until they raise to the surface</li>\n 	<li>Make a two cheese sauce, with spinach and crispy bacon</li>\n</ul>\n~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~\n\n<strong>NOTE:  <em>the sauce uses bacon </em></strong>\n\nThis  recipe will contain the following of the main 14 allergens as ingredients.\n<ul>\n 	<li><em><strong>Cereals</strong></em></li>\n 	<li><em><strong>Eggs</strong></em></li>\n 	<li><em><strong>Milk/Lactose</strong></em></li>\n 	<li><em><strong>Sulphites</strong></em></li>\n</ul>\n<strong>Please detail </strong><strong> any dietary requirements and allergies at the time of booking.</strong>\n\nA work area will be provided that does not have the ingredients you are allergic to but the attendee is responsible for avoiding allergens and any risk they pose.\n\nAlthough every care is taken to avoid cross-contamination with other allergens, due to the nature of the kitchen in use there is a risk that food prepared/served on site may contain other allergens not specified, i.e. ingredients may contain or have been prepared on shared equipment with wheat, dairy, eggs, nuts, fish, soya and shellfish and other allergens.\n\nNo responsibility will be accepted for anyone who consumes any food taken off site from a cookery class.\n<p style="text-align: center;">************************************************************************************************************</p>\n<p style="text-align: center;"><strong><em>***Full Terms & Conditions can be read during the registration process***</em></strong></p>\n<p style="text-align: center;"></p>
